This study looked at 181 cases from countries around the world, calculating 97% of people infected will show symptoms within 11.5 days from infection, with an average of 5.1 days. The biggest takeaway is that less than 1% of people released after the 14-day quarantine will show symptoms, providing solid rationale for the common two-week lockdown.
